- 2 ounces best-quality milk chocolate finely chopped
- 1/3 cup shredded sweetened coconut
- 8 tablespoons 4 ounces unsalted butter, cut into chunks, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon fine salt
- 1 large egg at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
